August 27, 2018: Will Rogers State Beach Trash Report

Monday morning, August 27, 2018... here are several photos of the beach trash left carelessly behind by the L.A. County Dept. of Beaches & Harbors (LACDBH) this morning as is their practice despite being asked several times to pick this trash up instead of leaving it behind where it poses a public health and safety hazard for both the general public and ocean lifeguards.

This is right in front of Will Rogers Lifeguard Headquarters and lifeguard tower #14.

Since LACDBH knows that it leaves this beach trash behind after collecting it with their tractors and rakes, you have to wonder why they would continue to do so after being asked several times by the lifeguards to not do so and to pick it up.  Negligence?  Carelessness?  The fact that it continues to occur suggests that this is done intentionally with reckless disregard for the health and safety of the general public and ocean lifeguards.

Respectfully submitted,

Will Maguire, Esq.
